The lake...May 1st/garden

This is the first time in my whole life that I have been able to jump in a lake on May 1st and not be freezing to death. This last weekend, Sandra and Tom invited us to come on their boat with them. I was so excited I have wanted to go swimming for a long time. Jason's parents decided to come and they brought their jet ski's. It was such a blast!! We were able to go tubing. It was crazy at times I was just flying in the air hoping that when I hit the water again that it wouldn't hurt. Jason was really good at tubing, I have to admit he stayed on their a whole lot longer that I did, but I think by the end of the summer I will stay on their longer. We also went jet skiing, I am a little scared to drive a jet ski so I just rode with Jason. The thing that made me laugh the most during the trip is when I was telling everyone that I wanted to get wet, and Jason's dad comes up to the boat on the jet ski soaking Tom and Sandra, but just in case Tom and Sandra didn't know Jason and I got him back, after we filled the boat up with gas. We have some pictures of me tubing, but alas I accidentally deleted the one of Jason, but dont worry their will be pictures eventually. I am so grateful for Sandra, Tom and Jason's parents. It is so nice to be so close to Jason's family. SO here are some pictures of our fun.

Other than Jason has an amazing garden in our little backyard. We have an awesome broccoli growing, and we have also been able to eat some strawberries from our garden. Jason also put some daisy's in our front yard. I feel so goo knowing that Jason is able to grow things for us. We also have corn, peas, potatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, and broccoli.

We also have pictures of us picking our first strawberry, however the squirrels got to eat the very first one, but I was able to get the second.

Who is Saving lives now

Who is saving lives now?? That is right Jason and I and his mom and the other thousands of walkers that walked last night in the relay for life. It was spotsy high school, and it was weird to be on a track which I have not been on forever. Jason and I started walking at 11 and walked until 1:00, man was I pooped, I guess it shows how out of shape I am.
Besides us saving lives, we have been working folk. This week Jason sold ten policies in one day, it was awesome, he is doing really well at this whole selling thing. He also won a shirt, that he likes a lot I on the other hand. . .
I am beginning to get a hang of my good ol J O B. I even got my first pay check, although it was only three days, still who doesn't enjoy a good paycheck to buy a book or two.
Other than work, I have also finished my first two assignments in school and got a good ol A on both. WAHOO!! I am really happy to be in school, although it is hard trying to balance everything cause I am way tired after work and I have had to stay late recently cause we have been pretty busy, but I can handle it. I guess that is what we call job security. I also got a present at work too, this last wednesday was administrative assistants day. My boss gave me a bowl for pop corn, lunch, pop corn salt, bliss chocolate, and more fancy chocolate. It was delicious! Well I have four more weeks of my first class left, and all is well at the Brown home. here are some pictures of relay for life. Jason's mom, aunt sandra, and lyndsey.

Jason and I having, fun and pretending like we are some serious walkers

This is proof we walked, and pictures before we all went home!

Happy EASTER

Jason and I had a wonderful week and weekend. I am still waiting for my background check to go through but I figure I should start work sometime this week. I also have started school and have already completed one assignment. I know I am one of those weird kids. I am very excited to be back in school and can not wait to start work. This weekend I even managed to drive my car twice, both to Jason's Mom and Dads but hey it still counts. Jason is doing very well at Geico he even won some prizes he won a fanny pack a slap band a harmonica and sun glasses, we have given them all to his nieces and nephews because lets be honest Jason wasn't going to take up playing the Harmonia.
Jason and I woke up early on Saturday morning and mowed our back lawn and then trimmed some trees had his parents. of course I watched him trim and I played pirates with his niece Maya. After that we borrowed the power washer and cleaned the front of our house and the gutters, man were they nasty. The funniest thing happened however Jason sprayed the gutter and managed to get black stuff all over our neighbors house who just happened to have their windows open and not answer their door, but we cleaned it up, so at least they will not hate us to much. The rest of Saturday we spent watching conference and in between sessions Jason made me delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Easter morning Jason made me breakfast and used all the eggs so we had to borrow one so he could make banana bread to take to the easter dinner. We watched the first session at home and headed their for the second session and had a wonderful time we a ham dinner with potatoes, carrots, rolls and apple pie for dessert. After conference the niece and nephews went hunting for eggs. here are some pictures.

Everyone Deserves at Least one Old Person Car

Everyone deserves that beginner car Quinn had the red grocery carrier car probably the weirdest diesel car ever, Trixe had the olds mobile which to me smells like wet dog. So from now whenever I smell wet dog it makes me think of the gray olds mobile with the hairy purple steering wheel cover. Now I have a mercuary topaz whom we bought from an old man from Arkansas. So Because I recently just got a job. Jason and I needed to buy a new a car. So we searched craigslist long hard and this is what we found it cost us 1200 and it has last than 100,000 miles on it. Jason and his dad put it up and looked at it, there is one thing wrong with it, but we are hoping that it will still pass inspection. So here are some pictures of it. I have to stay I do like it cause it makes me feel like I am really living here now

To continue on with the tour of my home. Here is a few pictures outside Jason is planning on making it look all pretty this summer and then we have the living room. Bradley was over so it isnt exceptionally clean.

The Down Stairs

So Jason and I have moved into our new home it is a town house three bedrooms and 1 and half bathrooms. Jason is doing very well working at Geico he has made at least 2 sells a days since he has been on the phones. I on the other hand start school on the 5th of April. Also I am pretty sure I have found a job working for Medi Home Health and Hospice. They sent someone over to my house yesterday to tell me I have the job but for some reason I just cant get a hold of them to talk to them. I also just turned down a job so lets hope this works out, but I trust if Jason and I keep doing all the things we know are right everything will work out. So here are a few pictures of our house I will post more this is just our kitchen dining room and downstairs bathroom area. I hope you see what we like. We have all new appliances as well as new carpet throughout the house. We are really
happy and lucky to have Jasons family close by and I miss my family greatly. We are hoping that my job works out for us which basically mean I 100 percent have one. Cause that will pay for my schooling as well as a little extra to buy for some much needed things for our home.

Grandma's Birthday

Today was Jason's Grandma's birthday she turned 76 today. SO All of her children and their children who live close by travelled up to Aunt Helens and had a party. Of course we were all required to bring a little something. So I called Trixie up last week and I asked her how to make something small and simple and she gave me a recipe, well it turns out it tastes great and I did not fail at either. Here is Jason enjoying our wonderful pasta salad.

Once we got there Aunt Helen has a wii, althoug Jason and I did not play with it still looked like fun. Maya Jason's neice had a blast as she was dancing along.

Then we have Jason's twin uncles dancing along too, it was hilarious to watch.

Well fun was had by all, and we cant wait for the next big party. We close on our house this week, and I have a job interview this week. So hopefully all goes well. Jasons cousing Jeremy's wife is having troubles in her pregancy and is in the hospital so our prayers are going out to her so that she can make it to her final weeks in pregnancy.

Our APT

So everyone that is far away and pretty much everyone close has never seen our Apartment so let me give you a virtual tour of the apartment i have been spending a lot more time in than i would like to be, but at least i have somewhere to be.

To start off this is our living room we have a couch thanks to aunt sandra and uncle tom a tv and tv stand thanks to jason's parents and a dvd player thanks to them as well too.

This is our beautiful dining room, and our table it has four chairs but we use the other chair for our desk, and thanks to grandma b for our table you never know how much you sue a table tell you dont have one.

I wish i could claim this as a spacious kitchen but it has everything we need and it doesnt need to big for just the two of us. and yes i have picked up my family trait of piling papers on any flat surface as soon as you walk in the door. :)

So this is our bed in bedroom. The quilt is from Jasons aunt sandra. We also have two dressers you cant see and a walk in closet, sometimes i wonder how two people can have so many clothes.

This is what i call Jasons desk for world of war craft it is the cornor of our living room, also that is the wall hanging aunt jeanine gave me for christmas, i will find a better home for it when we move into our house, but for now it just makes me think of the family and smile.

So this the outside of our apartment we are in 5302 D it is the top floor. Right now it sucks cause there is so much snow on the stairs, but alas this is home. So to continue on our journey here in Fredericksburg we have had more snow than they have had in a long time, Jason's family blames me, but it is crazy we have had two snow storms already and we are supposed to get another foot tonight, but here is it what it looks like in front of our apt, it makes it difficult walking around. Last Saturday Jasons whole family got together in memory of their brother Luke at their parents house and we played in the snow Jason made this awesome snow cave which looks like it wont be melting for awhile, sorry dont have a picture of that, but maybe soon.

Also i promised this awhile ago but i have my camera and it is very much in use now so here is the jean blanket i made for jason for Christmas. thanks to mom grandma and aunt lori, you guys are amazing.

I also want to thank everyone who taught me some mad sewing skills cause now i am using them to teach my new sister in laws how to sew curtains and everything. it is nice to be one knows a lot of things and I love that they value my expert opinion. Still no job, but i know it is part of the Lord's plan and i must have faith i will get a job when he needs me to in the mean time i am helping Jason's family in whatever way i can and reading some books :)....
