One Cool Chick

Emily loves wearing sunglasses and I had to share this with everyone, so they can truly know how adorable she is. As for an update she is running around crazy loves outdoors, loves to sing wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider, head shoulders knees and toes and the loves watching the garbage man. The bad side of things she hits when she is mad we are working on it so she no longer hits other people just herself and whatever she is around. She is 23 pounds and 29 inches ish. She has finally stopped puking from her severe sore throat and no longer has a cold. I am one happy mamma and she is growing up fast.

Fathers Day

well because I am a slacker and could not find the camera on fathers day we did not get any good pictures of Jason and Em on fathers Day. This year I went all out for Fathers Day for Jason I got him wait for it......measuring cups and spoons. I am truly grateful for all Jason has done for emily and I especially when he wakes up with Emily in the morning, cooks or cleans. I love our family and cant wait for it to be one more.

I am also grateful for my own Dad, who introduced me to sports and made me super competitive I know that I would not be where I am in life without him.

Jason's Pumpkin

We had a rogue pumpkin grow this year from a mulch pile. Well because it grew so quickly we already picked it. We had to have proof that it existed. Now we are using it to make beautiful desserts because it will definitely not keep until October.

Swimming and Water Fun

Summer is HOT!! This year and I personally keep sweating up a storm. So for Memorial Day Paul, Nan, Ammon and Ella came over and we went swimming in our kiddie pool it was a blast. As you can tell Paul and Jason spent a lot of time talking, but we all at least put our feet in. A few weeks later we went over to Marks and we tried to slip and slide with Bradley and Luke. It was fun after while the water was boring and they played with the grass or the toy lawn mower. We like to have fun in the Sun!!! I on the other hand am tired of sweating and am not enjoying to be pregnant during the summer. Never again I tell you never again.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day was great. Jason woke up early and made me some chocolate chip pancakes and gave me my jumper cables I asked for. we went to church came home and relaxed. I could not think of a better Mothers Day! This was also the first time we gave Emily chocolate chip pancakes.....I have to say she has to be a Rasmussen.

Also being a Mother over the past year has made me realize how much my Mom really has done for me and how much I appreciate and love her. 

The Browns and Cavenders go to DC

Jason's friend Ben and his wife were visiting his parents in DC, so we decided to take the trip up there to see some of the sites up there. Emily and I have been there a few times, but Jason has been there since he was kid it was fun. My favorite part was the Botanical Garden. The whole time we were there we kept talking about how much my Aunt Lori would have loved being there.
Also we were able to see the constitution, declaration of independence, and other cool stuff. However Jason and I headed home once we got bored in the art museum, art was never our thing.
It was nice though we had our own person tour guide Ben' Mom has been living in DC and while her husband was at work she would go and see all the sites, so she could tell us about everything about each place we went. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures we took.

Spaghetti Dinner and Fun

Two Saturdays ago we headed to the church to support the young women and their fund raiser. We ate some Spaghetti and had some fun.

Other than that we are just having some fun. Emily loves wearing shoes now doesnt matter whose shoes they are she likes to put them on and walk it does not always work the best. As far as trick Em can do if you do anything at all she will imitate it, from pointing to your nose, to dancing, or even tae bo. Also Emily is starting to fold her arms before dinner without me making her she than "talks" unfolds her arms and starts eating. I love it she is adorable.

Jason is doing good at work and we are getting ready to hang out with one of his friends from Utah tomorrow it should be a good one. I am in school and studying for test. YAY!!
