Since church was cancelled, we have been hanging out at home spending some time together. We have wrapped up our stuff for christmas and most of your stuff should be in the mail. Nothing to exciting this year I sure hope everyone can pretend they liek what was made or bought fo r them. this week has been both godo and bad and full of different activites. We attmepted to go to the Christmas parade this year, but gave up when we did not find a parking spot so we went to the dollar store instead. Emily has started preschool and loves it she comes home and tells me what she learns, this week was the letter M and Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
We spent Thanksgiving at Lake Anna with jason's family. We had some Turkey and fixings, smores, cake ice cream and pie. We played some games and overall it was fun. I just wish my kids could sleep better if they are in the same room as us because waking up at 4:30 is just rough. Before we headed off to Lake Anna we ran in the Turkey trot which is one of Jason's families traditions I ran under 30 minutes which was super good and Jason ran under 35 minutes pushing both kids. It was cold, but my kids were tough and made it through a lot of the other kids did not make to the finish because it was too chilly for them.I enjoyed the time off and am not excited to leave my kids to go back to school, but it will be nice to get back in a routine. I guess you cannot have everything you want. Now it is time to Gear up for Christmas!

one Great Weekend

Yesterday was the best day I have had in weeks it was no commitments just spending time with family and it was well needed. We spent the day going to the park, the library and playing outside in the leaves. Overall it was just nice to be home and playing with my kids. Max had fun at the park for the first time we played hide and seek *sort of. Max loved the slides he kept trying to climb them so he could back down it faster, hisnext favorite thing was the stairs he spent a lot of time hanging out there. This was also the first time taht Emily did not spend an hour on the swings, but was actually playing she was running and hiding laughing and yelling at me because she felt I was to slow. Sometimes I wish everyday was like that!
We started off in the five harness swings

Having fun

I have had a hectic week, I had parent teacher conferences, staff meeting and just good ol school drama. Emily and Max have been busy as well  raking leaves, playing, birthday parties and helping day take care of the house and clean.
In new news Max is saying his own form of please and Thank you and is a boy. He loves to climb things, he also enjoys just watching things fall from high places. Like dropping stuff down stairs or kicking inot balls into parking lots.
Emily almost wants to go potty. We are crossing our fingers that this will come easy for her, but you never know. She is all about dresses this week. She refuses to let anyone do her hair, but Grammy. She likes to ride her bike and cook for us. She is talking so much now I love it. I can't believe how much she has grown up.
She woke up early from her nap cause of peeing so she decided to sleep on the couch

Jenny this what you do in the fall...not set up Christmas

We have been a busy family this week. I have finished up the first nine weeks and am getting ready for Parent teachers conferences. Emily and Max are spending so much time outdoors at least when it is nice. It is officially fall her though, leaves are everywhere. Yesterday we headed over to Jason's parents house to rake leaves it was fun just to chat and work. Papa drove Max around for his first lawn mower and jeep ride. Emily played in her car and attempted to rake and go bored. After we got home ate lunch and took a nap we went to the the Elders Quorum activity we played some games outside and had Turkey dinner overall it was a nice afternoon. Little cold sometimes but fun. I love spending large amounts of time outdoors becasue it makes my kids sleep so well. Today was the primary program so Jason and I were busy wrangling some 3 and four year olds it was fun. We had one girl drop her headband from the stage...kids are funny.

Halloween

Like I said last Saturday we went to our Trunk or Treat it was really cold but it was fun. All my kids got dressed up and collected some candy. Once again on Halloween we got all dressed up minus Emily's antennae cause Papa took them and we went Trick or Treating it was so much nicer than the last time we tried to go. By the time we were done Emily had Trick or Treat down and was saying Thank you. Max on the other hand would have been perfectly content just climbing stairs. While we were trick or treating we had Grammy at home handing out candy so we could spend some time together. Overall it was a good time. Once again Max was a skeleton and Emily was Ladybug Girl.

Haha...Mom you are too funny!
