Christmas Leaves

Fall has hit us a little later, so we have been raking leaves, and boy do we have a lot more leaves then last year. It was fun to watch the kids. Max liked to hide his kitties in the pile and try to find them. Overall it was a good family time.

It is beginning to look like Christmas

Why we were still not stressed out for time and energy we set up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Emily had a blast hanging up all the ornaments she made the last few years. Although her favorite toy by far is our Nativity Scene (Little People). This year I feel like I am just as excited for Christmas as my kids are. I only have to buy for Jason and I am done. I got to say that is pretty good. I have decided I wanted to feel more of the Christmas spitrit year and so far I have done well. I attended the Ward Relief Society and it was amazing I had such a nice time and felt the spirit so strong it was just what I needed.

Thanksgiving

So my children are adorable and I love them. It was nice to spend a few extra days with them for Thanksgiving. We started off the day with the Turkey Trot, we came home rested and then went to the Church with Jason's family to eat and play games. probably the most memorable thing for me is when a second grader from my school passes me running and keeps running faster and faster tell she can no longer see me. Needless to say she did beat me.

pumpkin carving

Because I am such a slacker I have not yet posted pictures of us carving pumpkins, but they are fun. Holly helped us this year and we even let our kids draw the designs on, it was fun, a little cold, but fun. I wanted to do it outside cause well Less clean up. After we carved pumpkins we had to clean up and take naps so we could go to Caitlin's wedding where I learned Max has some awesome dance moves. Overall Jason's pumpkin was the best, then I would say Emily or Holly's then Max and then Mine, I can't figure out how to carve a pumpkin yet.
Like I said Jason's was the best

Max is 2

Maximus is one cute guy and he is now 2 years old. He had a good birthday we went out to dinner, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream. It was small and sweet. Max could care less and has no idea how old he is, however. Max has not been to the doctor yet because we forgot, but we have to do that soon. However in other news he is cute and adorable he knows a lot of his letters he can count to 3. His favorite thing in the world is to play with cars, bunnies, and kitties.
That is my fancy boy!

Pumpkin Patch

We kept our family tradition and headed to the pumpkin patch, this year it was just our little family, but it was fun. We pick out our pumpkins Emily and Max both picked two and then we grabbed some more in the end we ended with nine for the all you can carry. It was super nice weather, and we went out to eat for dinner afterwards to celebrate Max's birthday and that was even more tasty. Overall it was one fantastic trip.

Max got knocked down carrying his pumpkin and got a bloody lip, he is showing his mouth now. Also it was the first time I wanted to punch a child in the face for hurting my son cause neither the Mom or the kid cared.
