Day 2

Day 2 started off very similarily to the first we dropped Jason off, but then we headed to short pump tot he children's museum. However, with my master GPS and driving skills I put in the downtown address and did not realize it until I was on I64. Then I put in the right address, and we were headed in the right direction. However, still have direction challenges and could not figure out where it was. Turns out it was in the out door mall, but we parked somewhere I made the kids walk all the way there. It was easier to find that. As we left I turned the wrong way and of course got lost again. I love not knowing my direction. Then we rested in the Hotel room and then we swimming.

This center they a whole bunch of toys they could play with. Max loved the cars.

You placed stuff in the tubes and it shot out of the other hole it was way cool.

Vacation Day 1

Sunday after dinner we headed on our "vacation" I can't call it a real vacation because well Jason worked everyday, but we stayed in a hotel which made it a vacation. The first night we got in about 8 we put everyone to bed and slept. Then Emily Max, Calvin and I dropped Jason off at work then we explored the hotel and surrounding area and went swimming. It was a lot of fun. I enjoy walking around and seeing new places. The only downside was that it was super hot.

Hot hot hot

We are trying to stay busy this summer, with going to the library playing at the park going on walk and overall just sweating. This last week we finally reached a point where we kind of had a schedule. We went swimming with Holly and Makiah. They loved Makiah he played shark why they ran away. He even pretended to have a fin it was hilarious. Then when Emily was the shark he was such a good sport about it. Calvin even got in the water he is starting to like that too. We went swimming with Aunt Sandra Emily got a pedicure and Max was pretty jazzed to get his feet washed. We found a frog in our backyard on Friday too that was cool.  We are also spending time indoors because of the crazy heat. I love how Max and Emily work hard to include Calvin in what they are playing. He always has a piece in Candy land, they make him a bad guy when playing with their ducks overall just want to include him. It makes me feel like I did something right or someone did. Emily is getting more and more excited for Kindergarten Here are some pictures of the things we did over the week. I will share some pictures from the weekend later.

7-11 Slurpie Day

That is right I am just a couple weeks behind, but here we go. On July 11th we headed to 7-11 to get our free slurpie. Max and Emily were so very excited, luckily we have one that is a little more off the beaten path so it was not super full. Max and Emily pick the sour patch kids one, and I picked grape, Then we headed to Grammy's for lunch and swimming, but lo and behold by the time we got there  maybe 7 minute drive, Max's was gone. I love that boy and man does he love sugar.

Max: Can I have that one too?

Emily's Graduation

I know it is a little late, but here are the pictures from Emily's graduation. She is growing up so fast. I want to thank her awesome teachers Ms. Kendra, and Ms. Destanie for all the love they gave Emily the last 2 years. She loves them and likes to talk about them all the time. Also on a side note Max also loved his teachers and misses them to.

She kept taking off the sunglasses because it was too dark for her.

My graduation girl. (she tells me she wants to dress up as a graduation girl for Halloween)

Enjoying summer

This last week was pretty tame. Emily is registered for Kindergarten, and can now swim. She is amazing at how much she is growing up. She is willing to do anything to help us out. Max is a kid who asks a lot of questions, right now he is obsessed with Aunt Sandra and asks her a lot of questions. He always finds her and makes her swim with us. When she is in the pool, he asks her everything that comes in his mind. Calvin is eating solid food sort of, I think he is allergic to peaches and bananas, but loves sweet potatoes and pumpkins, I think he a fall boy.
Hanging out before church

Calvin in the swing, as you can tell he loved it

Fourth of July festivities

We had a lot of fun over the fourth of July. The weekend before we had a BBQ. Jason's brother Adam brought over his water slide and the kids loved it. After the BBQ we headed to the stars and stripes festival. It was a lot of fun.

Emily had a blast

Max had a lot of fun too

My little Harry Potter

The train ride, it takes these carts and a tractor pulls them around.

Proof that Calvin was there.

Max cut himself on a car, he did not realize it was bleeding until like five minutes later, he then demanded that he get a band aid, we found one, but because it was so hot,  it fell of because of the sweat. So this lovely EMT worker while touring the ambulance hooked us up. I guess she really did not have the easy job that day.

Max's dream come true, he loved these things.
Emily thinking she is one cool girl.
