School has started

In news at the Brown home is that Grammy came to visit Max and Emily have started school and Calvin and Holly went to the arborteum. Max is starting first grade his teacher is Ms. Henry. Emily started third grade Mr Adams and Me Ugolik are her teachers. She is super happy to have two teachers. Grammy came to visit for a few days She sewed with Emily and played with all the kids. She came with us to the thirsty it was a lot of fun.

Kings dominion

Thanks to awesome family we were able to go to kings dominion this summer. We went with Holly and michiah who did not disappoint. They were able to take Max and Emily on the big rides while I did the little rides with Calvin and lil Holly. We did some rides together. It was definitely a great day. We were able to hit up the watermark too. Max went down some waterslides for the first time.

Tball

Max played his first season of t ball and loved it. His favorite position was first. He had a great coach coach Kristen she was encouraging and enthusiastic. As well as an awesome team mom Christy Murphy who put names on shirts and did hats. Max improved so much he learned throw with more accuracy as well as hit the ball. He needs to practice not throwing his hat. He was a great baseman and was able to get some kids out. He loved that. Overall a great experience for him and me. Love helpful and friendly parents.

Softball

Emily played softball for the first time this summer and it has been so fun to watch. She went from being afraid to catch to playing catch all the time. She learned how to hit and even was able to hit a double. She also just learned the game and how to play and all the crazy lingo. She had a really good coach coach rickets who always took the extra minute to make her feel special and teach her something. He even let her play her favorite position third base on her last game and she did great. Stopping grounders was her speciality by far.

Fourth of July

I will catch up one day, but instead of getting further behind. We will start with the fourth. We started the day at the parade and then went to play at the park. Max and Emily both got to try rock climbing. We tried to dunk someone and the kids had their face painted. We then BBQed then played kickball with hoses and kiddie pools. Then at the and of the might we launched light up rockets. A bunch got stuck in a tree so we also spent a lot of time taking them down. Overall a super fun day.

Rabbit Run

We for up early and walked over to thenpavillion and did the Rabbit Run. Emily and Max did the mile. I ran the 5I all the kids did the Easter egg hunt. We did this with one of our neighbor's and friends from church which makes it way more fun. Emily ran with Holly (who keeps her motivated)did great she took 8th in her age group and ran it in 8:33. Max did great too he ran with Jason and ran it in 9:22 he placed 5th in his age group. I am so proud of both of them. My goal was under 30. I did it but barely ran 29:50. After that we came home recouped played some games and dyed Easter eggs.
