DUCK, NC with the Wests

So Trixie traveled to Duck NC to see Michaels family for the week. Therefore we made the trip down Friday so we could see their family we figured it was a lot closer than going to Texas. It was a lot of fun it was awesome to see Leah and Emily play together and even fight over toys. Max on the other hand had a rough time and well so did Dallin, but I will show you a picture later. It was fun to see some of Michaels family as well we spend the afternoon with them and then we drove back home about Emily's bedtime.  Emily went swimming and hot tubbing and played at the beach. However we only have pictures from the beach which was fun. Joshua, and Dallin would stand on the beach as the waves crashed in then run away trying not to get wet. The water was oober cold. However, at one point Dallin got distracted by some dogs and did not run fast enough so he fell. So jason picked him up and he was not a happy boy. However, Jason also had some issues with the water he did not move fast enough away from the wave and his pants got soaked. So when we got back to the place everyone was staying jason hung his pants outside and then forgot them when we headed. Well here are pictures Enjoy!!

Kid update

My newborn Mr Maximus is getting bigger he has already grown 2 inches since he was born measuring in at 22 inches  (92.95 percentile) and he not quite at birth weight at 9 lbs and 9 ounces (75.84 percentile). Other than that he is developing normally.

Emily is adorable as ever and talking up a storm. She has started pulling her hair which is annoying, but I know she will grow out of it. She loves to dance and play cars. Her new favorite toy is helicopters and she points them out to me when we go on walks together. Overall she is getting bigger and healthier and stronger. She even tries to pick Max up sometimes and yells at me when I do not go to Max right away when he is crying. She also has a favorite parent which is Jason if he is home I am not seeing her at all, but jason loves how excited she gets when he comes home from work. So I guess  it is okay.

Grandma was here and Boy did we have fun and boy did I appreciate her  being. Max is not much of a night sleeper and she is super helpful. Also why she was here she was able to let Jason leave the house more and get some stuff he needed done. 

While Grandma was here she was able to experience hurricane Sandy...Preelection Virginia and all the wonderful adds. see the trees change colors...help me sew some things...and spend time with her grand kids. Emily loved playing cars with her grandma and blocks. Emily was very sad when she left cause she was not just stuck with good ol mom.

Everyone is home and healthy now, Max's first night he cried pretty much the whole time. Let's hope he sleeps more in the night in the future. He loves to sleep in the sunlight during the day. We are very grateful he is happy and healthy. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers.

Pumpkin Patch

So we decided to go to the Pumpkin Patch and spend some good quality time. We took a hay ride and emily did not enjoy that, that is for sure. She loved however picking pumpkins and playing in the dirt. It was fun and we came home with seven pumpkins because that is all Jason could carry. PS I am still pregnant and scheudled for a C section on the 26th.

Family Fun Day

At the end of September Jason took a day off  so we could go to Family Fun Day. It was awesome we played carnival games and had lunch. Emily won a prize, Jason won a prize and the boy running one of the carnival gamse felt bad for me so he helped me win, but enjoy.

Family Night

Last Friday we decided to go somewhere for Family night, so where did we go that is right BOWLING!!!!
