Good Week

Fall is here and I am loving it! It has been so nice to cool down this last week. Where I can go outside and breathe and not be sweating. Other than that this was a nice calm week/weekend. This week was my Dad's birthday. We called and talked to him it was nice to hear from Dad, we also learned that he was famous. Google his name there are a whole bunch of articles about him online.  We have been hanging out watching general conference. In between sessions Emily and Grammy made apple pie. I have to admit this has been one of my favorite weekend since school started just because we have stayed home. Also we went shopping and me new shoes for work and school. It was getting old wearing the same shoes everyday to work, as well as not smelling the best. Second I needed running shoes because well I have actually been running, not fast but running. Here are a few pictures from our more calm week/weekend.

Emily was just as excited as I was about my new shoes.

State Fair, and 5K

Gleason showing everyone how it is done
We have been super busy. Yesterday was one crazy day it all stated at 6:00 we got up and headed to the fair ground for the food for 5k run. This is becoming quite the family tradition now, this year I invited my friend Gleason from work. She was so amazing at running she placed second in the women's division. I on the other hand was not last, so I call that a success. After we ran we worked on service projects we made puppets for STRONG FOR DOM and painted bleachers for the fair grounds.
We are some good looking folks

Emily's is pink weird huh?

It was a blast and great opportunity for nonmembers to learn about our crazy religion. After that we headed home for nap time. Woke up and went to Luke's for his birthday party. Then after hanging out for an hour we headed to the State Fair, which is always fun. They made some changes from last year, but it was fun. The kids got to milk a "cow". Play in soybeans, try some different flavors of honey, and see a whole bunch of different animals We even saw some fish. We watched a fireman'
s show, and we saw someone make a sculpture with a chainsaw that was cool too. All in all it was fantastic, but busy day.

Catch up

So I am a large slacker, but I am still just trying o get in the swing of things. School is going amazing, I love my class and I love my job. I am sad however everyday leaving my kids. I feel like I am missing out on so much. I know however that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.
Max is growing crazy big, he talking counting, and excited to learn st uff (complete opposite of emily). He loves to color, and especially loves books.

Emily on the hand Emily loves Grammy school. She is always excited to go and often demands that Jason leave early.

Other than that not up too much, just getting it what family time I can between mine and jason's schedule it sure is hard.

I am going to miss them

Just so we are aware I am going crazy thinking about leaving my kids everyday to go to work. This week was the first week where I have to be gone all week. So whenever I was home I took about a million pictures. Max lately has been obsessed with his stuffed bunny this magnetic bear Aunt Jeanine gave us, his penguin beanie baby, and cow baby. Everywhere he goes they go it is actually really frustrating sometimes. Max is almost two and he is talking pretty good he has foods he likes and foods he would rather not eat. His favorite dinner food by far is noodles and pizza. It is so fun to watch him Eat. Emily is becoming quite grown up she is doing so many more things on her own, she puts away her own laundry, she puts away her dish at dinner, she helps set the table. She loves to be helpful and love attention. On the flipped side of things when she is tired she is unbearable, she will scream and yell and do whatever she can to get you to cave. Then if all else fails she will tell you she is sick and cough. Got to love these kids. School starts Tuesday for me, Jason started on the 20th, so wish us both luck.
