Baptism and glow run

We have had a busy weekend. Grammy and papa came to visit. We have been swimming and playing lots of games. On Saturday max and Emily player soccer. Then we Did a family glow run. It was fun we ean a mike them ate yonananas. On sunday max chose to get baptized. There was lots of family here to enjoy. Lots of aunts and uncles grandma Grammy and papa. He has some great aunts and uncles there. Over all It was great and i am grateful for the exemple he sets for his younger siblings. It sure is great to be eight. 

 

Intersession

 This week was fair day then intersession. Max learned some game strategies and ran around in the gym. Emily went and practiced math and reading. She a win 2 prizes a canvas and free dress. She came home with cotton candy and a snow come too. She wants to go back. Calvin stayed home with Holly Cora and I. Holly did great in ballet. It was fun. We went on walks and played. Emily also went to the arboretum 28th aunt jen. Saturday we played soccer max scored and Emily was a great midfielder and defender. She assisted a goal and almost made a bunch.

 This week was a good week. Emily and Max both scored goals in their games and played hard. Holly was a champ at ballet and Calvin was student of the week. Cora is crawling all over the place and likes food againm. Sunday night Calvin had croup so he stayed home from school Monday however by the end of the day he was in a dragon suit acting crazy. He also for dinosaur books from his school he was so excited. We went swimming Friday after school to get one more swim in. Jenny took is to the arborteum on Tuesday it was fun. Holly loved the pumpkins and talks about that and Jenny's fall got to love kids. This week is intersession here is to some extra family time.

Update

 We are officially going face to face now. Calvin loves ms Martha. He had a hard time the first week but figured things out. Last week he was even student of the week.

Emily is loving going to her specials and being with kids her age. 

Max is loving his new school riding the bus and his new teacher. The change in him is crazy I feel he is excited about everything.

Soccer has started so we have crazy weeks and weekends now but I like watching them work hard. Emily is trying hard to be midfield.

Cora is sitting up and crawls backward and kind of forward a few crawls and stops and sits down.

Holly is three

Holly turned three this month. She is growing up so much and one smart cookie. She loves let it go shopping and ballet. For her birthday we went to the zoo and invited her cousin's not in school to come over and have holly approved food. The weekend before she asked grandma to take her. Shopping. It was an adventure. She picked out let it go shoes and a new dress as well as a puzzle. That is all she wanted for her birthday. Are grateful for all the gifts she received and love her and All her crazy.

So it begins

School started and life is crazy. We are three weeks into virtual school and we have some sort of rhythm. Still weird to be doing google meets and have so much time on the computer. Calvin started pk at garland classical, max at hillside for 2nd grade and Emily in fourth. In crazy news Calvin won a chromebook from the library from summer reading program.

Almost over

 School is getting ready to start. So we are finishing up some fun things this summer. We have been swimming, visitors, hiking, the lake, we went to the zoo, and my favorite playing in the rain. It has been fun i am a little nervous with the whole online anything. Cora can sit up now and has started solid food. Holly started up ballet.  Everyone else just wishes they could be in school.
