Grandpa Came to VA/DC

This last weekend my Dad traveled the long journey eastward to meet his granddaughter Emily. Dad's flight was supposed to land at 11:30, so of course it landed at 11:00. So lets just say Jason and I were a little late picking him up, with traffic, construction, and my amazing sense of direction. Once we got home we all went to bed.

The first real day Dad was here he took Emily on a run with him. When they came back Emily was not in the best mood, but she was still up for picture.

After we all got ready for the day Dad wanted to buy some Virginia stuff, and shoes so we traveled all around Fredericksburg to find him the things he needed. After that we went to the park.  There we walked around the Folf course.

when we got home we at some pork chops and then played some wii

Saturday we went to DC. That is right everyone I drove northbound to springfield and then from their we went on the metro. We walked all around seeing the different site and taking a ton of pictures. We decided to head home at 4:30 so we got back on the metro. Once we made it to the metro station I had a little trouble finding our car, I guess i have a horrible sense of direction. We got to the car finally and Dad was hungry and asked me if we could stop. I went on to tell him once we got on the interstate we are not getting off, so he named every restaurant on the way home.

After we got home we had hamburgers for dinner and played some wii

September Update

So what is new in the house of the Browns you ask?

Recently I have had surgery on my knee. I tore my ACL back in 2010 playing church basketball in Lovelock and now it is fixed. It was an extremely painful process at which I hope to never repeat.

Emily is eating solid food, loving her high chair and smiling all the time. She is scooting backwards and getting stuck quite frequently underneath the couch. Her new favorite toy is a toothbrush.  I am also starting to notice she has some of my personality traits. Too bad it is not the good ones she is moody sometimes and will yell at you if you are eating and she is not and refuses to sleep unless she wants too. She feels that if anyone in the world is eating she should get some too even if it is on TV. She is so silly. I think the funniest thing she does now is when you put her to and she does not want to sleep she rolls on her belly and lift her head up to project her yelling.

Jason has been super dad lately. Taking care of both Emily and I. He was also able to experience the troubles of waking up at night with the baby. Because when I could not walk he had too.He also is working all the time , cooking and cleaning I have no idea how he has managed the last few weeks.
