I have had a lot of` fun this week with my class. We made tangram shapes, made bridges with legoes, and made some potato people. Just thought I would share the amazingness of our tangrams and potato people.

Camping and pedicures

We have had a fairly busy week. School is winding down, and Emily and Max are finally doing well at school. They enjoy going and it is fun to watch to see who their friends are now. It has been a trial teaching them how to have friends but not necessarily say and do everything that they do, but we are learning. This last weekend was a father and son camp out for Jason and Emily and I went to girl's night. 2 things I learned number 1 staying out past 8 is too hard for me cause holy cow I was basically asleep sitting there and number 2 Max loves camping. The thing that made me laugh is that Emily keeps wanting to get a pedicure done, sorry trix and jen I promised her in Florida we would.

Emily is Giddy

scrubbing her feet...she was giggling

eating dinner...or in Em's case done with dinner

sleeping before they even got to the campsite

Whoa glow stick!

Emily missed Max so much. When we called Jason she would always ask: "where is Max" then ask to to talk to him. I like that they are friends and want to spend time together.

Emily is 4..what that was 2 months ago

So I finally took Emily to the doctor for her 4 year old check up. She is doing well. She is 75 percentile for her weight 50 percent for her height. She is crazy! Her favorite colors are pink and purple. Her favorite past time is playing Barbie's with Holly. Her favorite Disney princesses are Elsa, Anna and Cinderella. If she could wear a dress everyday she would. When she gets Mad she gets MAD! She will scream and yell at you and keep telling you that you are wrong. She also is on a blaming thing, like if she wakes up to early she will tell me that Dad woke her up, or the sun, or birds.  Overall I love this stubborn girly girl.

Mother's Day!

We had a great Mother's Day! We sent my mom a package of M&Ms and seeds and pot so she can have some green in her room. Then we made a popcorn bowl and dinner for Jason's Mom and just dinner for Jason's Grandma. It was nice I always enjoy spending time together. On the Friday before Mother's Day I went to Mother's day tea with Max and Emily it was so nice to spend time together. Needless to say Max ate all of her cookies and drank my juice his and another cup. So I didn't get to eat a whole lot, but ya know.
mmm cookies

yay for us!

Emily gave me Raisins, answered questions about me and then made a mug for me in primary. Max made a mug for me in nursery and a cool picture and poem.

Pretty Awesome
I asked him to hold them up

That is right 4 pounds
However, Jason surprised me this year he made me the best mailbox ever. He took my dream of having a cool mailbox to the extreme by making me a pig mail box.
Best Mailbox Ever

Overall it was a great mother's day and I felt so special. I hope that my Mom had a good Mother's Day and knew how much I loved her.

Kings Dominion take 2 and 3

When we are not working hard at school and work, we play hard at King's Dominion. Max is actually starting to have some fun now. He is going on rides and semi enjoying himself. I love spending time together as a family. It is awesome we had a petting zoo with ducks, cows and all sorts of cute animals. We also been building cars at Kings Dominion. Max loves building things and he especially loves the cars. Emily's new favorite ride is the flying eagle, and Max loves the carousal m so grateful for the time we have together. Do not get me wrong some experiences have been rough. Max spent time running away from me. I felt like I was kidnapping a child it was very embarrassing needless to say we left after that. Emily is becoming a daredevil trying more roller coasters and telling us what she wants to do. I love watching her grow up.

Update

We have been so very busy, between day care and school and all the other craziness. Emily has adjusted well to school she has made a few friends. Max on the other hand still cries everyday I drop him off. It has not helped that it is allergy season and he is sick too.

In school Emily is learning all about animals. Max is learning all about shapes. As a reward for being awesome at school we sometimes head to Grammy's.

When we are home we are playing and having fun. Emily is obsessed with picnics she sets up picnics outside after school.

Max is super adorable after trying to catch up some much needed folding he found some socks and told me that they were gloves. I love watching him smile and be happy.
