Merry Christmas to all and too all a Good Night!

Wehad a pretty good relaxing Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we went to Jason's Aunt Janet's house and hung out. There Emily and Max participated in the cousin exchange and just spent time with family. Then we headed up ate some Pizza and walked around looking at the christmas lights in our neighborhood. Then we read the Christmas Story and off to bed they went.

When we awoke the next morning Santa had done very well. Emily came down the stairs ecstatic that she got what she asked for a Minnie Doll. Max on the other hand just wanted to play with her toothbrush. After we opened Santa's gifts we went over to Jason's parents house and had cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. It was nice and relaxing until well we went to leave. Where my dear Emily ad the biggest fit so she couldn't come back for dinner. So her and I hung out and while Jason and Max went back after their nap. We also were able to Skype with Aunt Jenny it was really nice to see Rylan almost in peron,he was adorable. After we skyped with them we opened the rest of our presents our Family treated us really well this year. I want to thank them for helping make our christmas awesome fun, as well as just giving stuff we need tha I refused to buy.

The first time neither child was to thrilled, the second time Emily got on his lap, but Max was not a fan. we had our Ward party last Saturday it was a Polar Express theme. Then we have been baking cookies, I have been working and Emily has been going to preschool. I am looking forward to my next few weeks off. Just to spend some time with family. Since church was cancelled, we have been hanging out at home spending some time together. We have wrapped up our stuff for christmas and most of your stuff should be in the mail. Nothing to exciting this year I sure hope everyone can pretend they liek what was made or bought fo r them. this week has been both godo and bad and full of different activites. We attmepted to go to the Christmas parade this year, but gave up when we did not find a parking spot so we went to the dollar store instead. Emily has started preschool and loves it she comes home and tells me what she learns, this week was the letter M and Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
We spent Thanksgiving at Lake Anna with jason's family. We had some Turkey and fixings, smores, cake ice cream and pie. We played some games and overall it was fun. I just wish my kids could sleep better if they are in the same room as us because waking up at 4:30 is just rough. Before we headed off to Lake Anna we ran in the Turkey trot which is one of Jason's families traditions I ran under 30 minutes which was super good and Jason ran under 35 minutes pushing both kids. It was cold, but my kids were tough and made it through a lot of the other kids did not make to the finish because it was too chilly for them.I enjoyed the time off and am not excited to leave my kids to go back to school, but it will be nice to get back in a routine. I guess you cannot have everything you want. Now it is time to Gear up for Christmas!
