Goodbye Old Red!

I am very sad I had to say goodbye to my car last week it was much needed. I could not take the key out of the ignition otherwise my car would not start with out a few taps of a wrench, it leaked random fluids, the rack and pinion was on its way out, paint was peeling and it was over 200,000 miles. However, despite all those things I loved the car it was Emily's car it is the car she has been with most of her life and I was finaly comfortable driving, however with the loss of one car, is hello to another. Say hello to our impala.

Picking Strawberries

We went strawberry picking yesterday. I was not in the best of moods, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. We invited Jason's mom to go with us which is nice since she used to be a professional at picking berries.

Cute kids.

While school is going on I do not get a lot of time with my kids but the time I do get is amazing. They make me laugh so hard cause they are adorable. Last Sunday Jason was in the shower and I was being lazy in the living room. I hear Max and Emily laughing in my room needless to see I found them in the cupboard got to love kids.

Mother's Day!

My new philosphy with most things is better late then never. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Saturday Emily and I took Jason's mom for a pedicure, we cooked her dinner and made her some lemon bars. It was delightful it was cute to watch emily get her nails painted by someone other than me.
Sunday was nice as well Jason let me sleep in, the kids him gave me a card and much needed cleaning supplies for this house, I was down to using a handbroom to sweep the floor, got to love a husband who buys you things you need. Overall it was a great day!

Grammy all excited!

The move

So it is official we moved into our new home. We have had to deal with allergies, frogs, ants, cannons and gun shots, but we are here and here to stay. It is nice for the kids to have more room to play and breathe. I know Jason loves having a yard. Right now our kids are still adjusting to their new rooms, but in the end we are happy. In other news that I have clearly missed Max is 18 months and talking like a champ he uses a lot of sentences. However, he is really violent. Emily is becoming quite the bossy betty, but I think that comes from me. Overall we are one happy semi healthy family. So we now have room so you can come visit us now.

Day 2...check out the tepee the kids had a blast

Family Pictures/pass times

As a compromise we take pictures on Easter I am too cheap to get someone to take them so we do it ourselves this is the result. Enjoy!

I know we are some professional photographers here. Other than that this how my children like to spend there time at Grammy's with me. I know they do not get the cleaning bug from me, must be Aunt Jenny or Aunt Trixie

this is where Emily goes when I am done pushing her

Clean the cement

I do good work

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! a few weeks late but none the less. I had Spring Break and Easter and we were pretty busy. We dyed eggs, we hunted for eggs, we at ham at grammy's. Emily and Max are still confused about it all, but it was fun. They did enjoy finding the eggs.
