Through the Eyes of a Child

Max and Emily recorded this for me. I love the end it is the best.
I just wanted to share how adorable Max is becoming. As well as how grown up he is and his weird personality.

Kids are Funny

Max has learned to make some new noises with his mouth. So other night this how we ate our dinner.

I love my kids especially their weirdness. This before church yesterday. They are starting to play together and have fun. They may fight and scream, but I think theyw oudl be bored with one another.

We Love our Rain

This last weekend was super rainy, to be honest I was a little sad. I look forward to the weekend and playing outside with my kids,  but with Rain the option was not really there. However, we did try to play outside and too be honest I regretted it a little bit.

Max and Emily are growing ups o much. Emily is pretty much potty trained, Max is talking and his personality is starting to come through more and more. His favorite person in the world however still is Dad. His Grammy is excited though because he is saying her name before any of the other grandkids started too. Max is very quirky he refuses to sit in a booster seat or a high chair or he will not eat as much food. He hates getting clothes on or off, but loves having his socks taken off. He talks about jammies, and clothes. He is so funny as to what words he picks up. The other day on the way home from somewhere Max started yelling PLEEEEEEEEAse and I had no idea why.

Emily is my rogue learner. She always pretends she does not something until she decides she wants you to know. We have a new toy that asks you to push the letter. Anyways I have been trying to teach Emily her letters FOREVER. Needless to say the machine asked where is the L. She pushes the L, later she walks pas it again and it asks for K, then she pushes the K. What is my child doing to me?

I am super excited to spend the summer with these guys. I love both of their crazy personalities. Emily and Max love books, playing outside, going on walk, animals, nature. One of my new favorite things that Max does is he sings in chruch. It is loud no words, but he wants to be apart and he demands he holds the book by himself. Emily and Max love playing with their babies they took turns sitting rocking and putting their baby to sleep.

Happy Birthday Emily Brown!

Emily is turning 3 on Tueday but we partied yesterday. We had friends over made cupcakes and had some fun. I can't believe how old she is getting. She is no longer saying Cuppy Day but saying Birthday. She is pretty much potty trained she loves to read, her tepee, but most of all she loves her new doll house her daddy gave her. Overall her birthday was a great time the weather was perfect, and friends and family were great for all they did to help and for all they gave.
Playing outside....Max went down the slide..and said I did it

Overall it was a great time. Max was a little muddy however. He would climb up the stair and go down the bigger slide except he has not figured out how to catch himself yet so he would land in the mud. By the end his pants were no longer black and white but mud. Also as he was going down the slide at the end he would leave a brown streak. Emily had a blast I just can't believe how old she is.

Snow Days

This last Monday it snowed and snowed and snowed. So I was off from school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a blast here are some pictures from our fun time in the snow.

Take Two

So I had to video this to show how much my children are alike and the second video is when they like eachother.

Getting Back

We have been super busy these last couple of weeks working on getting back into some sort of routine. Emily is making great strides in using the potty. She is peeing in the potty really well, we are just missing the poop part which I am hoping comes soon....real soon. Emily is really active imagination I watched her play in her room this afternoon she put all of her bears in a circle and fed them lunch. She yelled at them and told them what they were eating and if they did not want to eat they need to go time. she is obsessed with farmers. Max wore overall the other day and she went around telling everyone that he was a farmer, when she saw a bale of straw she looked at me farmer. She is still obsessed with Minnie and is obsessed with doing it herself. When ever she does something she yells I do it myself.
Jason is still going to school and working, and he is getting better and better at trying to balance all of that while still being home with the kids most of the time. It is truly amazing how he can balance all of that.
I am still teaching, and loving it. I have my bad days, my sad days, and my great days, but I would not give up this oppurtunity. I have learned so much about myself, my family, and how I can best raise my children.
Max is adorable he is a singing dancing, talking fool. He tells everyone to get it, and I did it, and wawa and bottle and so many more. However sometimes he tries to be too helpful. He often finds himself pulling a chair to the counter to help with the dishes except he just throws them on the ground, or now he empties our cupoboards and puts them in the sink to be washed. He hated his high chair so he is now in a booster which is nice, but weird to think we actually need to use four chairs.
Max and Emily still love Frozen, and I am a child of god. They love and hate each other, but most of the time they are hitting each other fighting over Dad. I love my kids and being at school sometimes makes me realize how lucky I am for all I have. Also makes me aware of all my parents did for me growing up.
Mad that I told we had to go in...because Max was cold *baby has a blankie so she is warm

Max eating his wheat he demanded that he use that spoon he even went and got it himself
