Great Aunts

While we were at the reunion my Aunt Jeanine surprised me with my Graduation quilt, I was completely unaware and totally caught off guard. Everything she was doing to get ready for the reunion all she was doing at the reunion and she remembered my college graduation. Thank you Aunt Jeanine.
Look at beautiful it is, My kids wanted to sleep in the bed

So pretty, and so happy my favorite colors

Hair Cut

So I apparently have worried some dear family members with Max's hair cut, but alas his hair is cut and he is so much happier, he is no longer sweating so much on his head. Jason did not appreciate me making him do this, but we still have a memory out of it.
Happy Boy right?? Although he does have stickers which almost makes it wotrh it

almost done, distracted him with blocks

Our Week

This was week was fairly busy, we were Jason free until Tuesday so we spent a lot of time just being together. We went swimming we made pizza, we ran in the rain. This last week I realized something that  have never realized before I really do love my playing with my kids. They are funny, have personalities, and each like certain things and hate certain things. They are their own people. Especially in the car, they start singing the ABC's they start spitting then laughing, why are they spitting I have no idea. Overall it was a fun week, I am scared of the future and the starting of school I am going to miss Max and Emily.
Heading to church last sunday

Post nap Sunday he did not want to get up

neither did she

Swimming

Max was being Max, and reminded me of the Zach from Saved By the Bell he was singing bobobobobobob, but whenever I put the camera up he stopped.

Summer Days

We have been passing our summer days doing random sort of of things. Thy are fun, but mainly I try to entertain them as much as I try to entertain myself. It has been fun spending time with my kids all day. Do not get me wrong they stress me out too. Max manages to paint everything around him including me, but it is fun to watch him to do it.  However we just try to stay busy and have fun. My favorite thing is when Emily is putting stickers on Max, cause she pretends like they are band-aids. As she puts them she is like here is an owie, and he is an owie, then Max starts pointing places. I love it!
This is a video after I get tired of pushing them in the swings

Walking Babies

They other day we were playing inside and they were pushing their babies inside. So I asked Max and Emily if they wanted to take them outside for a walk. They sure did we walk over a half mile pushing their babies, I feel they would have walked longer if Jason would not have gotten home.

Reunion

I am a slacker, but here it goes. I had a blast at the Brinkerhoff family reunion, It was filled with laughs, pukes, games and just fun. We were in the parade Emily was a lady bug, and Max was a farmer, Max refused to walk so Jason joined the parade, he was very festive so it worked out great. Emily had a great time hanging out with all of her cousins especially Leah she kept referring to her as her sister. Although they took a "nap" together one day and had a blast. I really enjoyed seeing her play with my sister's kids. Max had a ton of fun with the chickens, and dirt. He just loved being outside all the time. Jason ran the 5K I did not I was not feeling very well and he did amazing, he took the men's division. Emily was the one who awarded everyone their medal for finishing. Everyone else left on Saturday and my family got some one one time with Grandma and Grandpa B and my Mom. It was a good thing cause Monday and Tuesday Jason and Emily were both sick so it was nice not to have to fly with that. Overall it was a blast I am so glad we went.
This was on the flight over to Reno this was like midnight our time and Emily was just enjoying hersel
