Maximus 9 months

We Max's 9 month check up on Wednesday. He is pretty amazing. 90 percentile head, 30 inches tall and 22 almost 23 lbs. He is pulling him self to standing everywhere, he is clapping, waving and of course hi-5ing. He will walk along furniture if it something he wants. However, unlike Emily he can sleep through the night most nights. I love this little boy and I am glad he is part of our little family.

We Brown's Party Hard

This last week was pretty busy between parties, doctor appts and just life, but we had some fun. We started the week out at King Dominion, Emily finally went on the boat ride I have been trying to convince her to go on. We swam a little and I was able to go on a ride this time while the kids ate some lunch it was the Drop Zone . It scared the tar out of me, but I loved it. On Tuesday we went to CeCe's birthday party she turned three is a ballerina theme. Emily wasnt to fond of anything ballerina instead she played with dolls, stroller and all of that, she though about dancing than ran away because she though someone was taking her stroller.

Friday we went to story time, Emily was a bee .and had to buzz from flower to flower, got to love the library creative. Then Saturday we went to Ammon's 3rd birthday. This one was Car theme, what made it better is I let Emily pick out the gift and he loved it, it was some weird UFO truck. First we raced around the track. Then Emily convinced Uncle Paul to push her in a car around the truck, then we played with a pinata, and then cake and just play. Afterward we ate some hot dogs. Overall I would have to say Emily's favorite part is Nan and Paul's play kitchen and then of course Ammon's collection of cars. It was a nice afternoon and I am glad we helped celebrate his third birthday.
Max Pretty Much loved the balloons and that is pretty much it at the Party, other than Max falling a few times it was all good

Max's First Hair Cut

Its official Max had his first hair cut (even before Emily). Jason wanted to get a hair cut so we went to visit Michelle and they cut both of their hairs. While we were there people were asking Emily if she was getting her haircut too, she looked at them and then point to Max and say Max's hair cut. Needless Max did amazing he only cried at the end and I think that was more because he was hungry. He looks older now, but we lost his curls.

Hanging at Home

We had a semi relaxing week this week we hung out a lot at home. I attempted to make play do (epic fail). We laid around read books, played outside, and went to the park. Overall it has been nice to just chill and not having anything real big planned. As far as the chitlins go Max is doing amazing he is army crawling all over the place him and Emily chase each other. Emily hides something and makes Max go find adorable. Also they love playing in my mom's tepee she made my kids. They played and laughed for hours going in and out of it.  Recently Max has been into playing with our big red ball he will push it all over the house. He can pull him self to standing and of course says DADA. Emily had her first Slurpee on 7-11 when they were free. She didn't like the taste really just felt really cool holding it.

Nectarine....I mean Peach Picking

So a couple of years ago we bought what we thought was a nectarine tree, turns out it was peach. We found out this year because this is the first time we have actually had fruit and a lot of it. We ended up canning a bunch of it. It makes me feel like I am accomplishing stuff, however our kitchen is small so it doesnt fit in there all the best, but if works comes to worse we are living off peaches. Also we haven been able to make jam as well, we made plum and blueberry jam, peach jam, and berry jam. It is a lot of fun cause we always saw our mom's doing this when we were growing up.
See this is the first part after we steamed them *check out Emily's lady bug girl boots*

Having Fun in The Sun or Rain

This week it rained Emily and I decided to play outside anyway and we got soaked it was fun though.

Later this week, Saturday to be exact we went to the river with Debbie and it was fun. Emily was playing in the sand. We always enjoy when Debbie comes with us.

Hanging in the water

Other than that Max and Emily are finally able to really play together. She chases him around the house they are both laughing so hard. I wish I could get in on video but they both are too easily distracted.

Happy Fourth

So Independence Day was a good time. We went over to Jason's brother house. Where we had a BBQ with kiddie pools and slip and slides. It was fun. Emily however did not like the slip slide, but loved watching Jason do it, she would laugh and giggle with glee that it was the coolest thing on the planet. After the BBQ the set of some little fireworks, I stayed in the house because fireworks freak me out, after that we walked over to watch the Louisa parade Emily loved it she especially loved the fire trucks, and horses. Then we headed up we were all exhausted, but of course Emily stay up late and singer her self to sleep. Gotta love her. Max I think enjoyed the BBQ most of all however he slept through most of it while we were all outside sweating he was in the house sleeping.
