Baby it's cold outside....hold up it is like 75

We have some super nice weather lately. So what did we do, we headed to the park and have been spending a lot of time outdoors. I love taking my kids to the park cause we pretend we have a pirate ship. It is fun to watch them get super excited, however I never know what to say when other kids ask if they can play to, Is that allowed? We are taking the nice weather and enjoying our family time outdoors.

Seeing Santa and the Christmas Parade

This year we were able to attend the Christmas Parade, it was so much fun. The kids were able to watch and see all the floats, dancers and bands. Then of course Santa came in on a fire truck which was super exciting too. The week after that we went and saw Santa. They were okay with him, but they were more interested in the cookies and candy they got.

Getting Ready for christmas

We made our first gingerbread house the kids had a lot of fun. They enjoyed figuring out where all the candy goes. Jason constructed it and the kids decorated it. We set up our tree the week after Thanksgiving break it was a little hectic, but they kids were way excited about hanging up all the decorations. This year they both knew what was going on so it was fun to see how excited they were.

We had a blast going down to Florida for Thanksgiving. We left Tuesday after school and drove through the night. When I say we drove I mean Jason drove and I tried to keep kids somewhat entertained. Once we were there Jason took a cat nap while Max, Emily and I explored some of the local stores. I learned that there is a Natures Market Wal-mart, that was a new experience for me. Then we played at the playground near the beach house and then played on the beach. We finally were able to go into the beach house we showered changed, and napped that part was nice too. Soon everyone else arrived and the fun began. I loved seeing my family and getting to baby T. I am jealous that my sisters are able to see each other more often.

We decided to go on a bike ride on Halloween, and we tried out Max's new bike. We have had it for a while but he had to prove that he was potty trained before he could ride it. He got better as we rode but he needed help with the whole pedaling thing, if was pedaling he was not steering needless to say that mile took a really long time. I am super proud of Emily she was very patient while Max learn how to ride. Even if it was super frustrating when he was finally going that he would hit the break then be made cause he stopped.

We are not as good at the Wests or Cruz's but we try. We carved our pumpkins on Halloween this year they turned out pretty good though.

2 trunk or treats and a trick or treat

Halloween was super busy for us. First we attended our church trunk or treat which was a blast. They did the trunk or treat first, then we went inside for carnival games and such. Holly and Makiah *sp came with us. They handed out candy while we walked around.  As you can tell my beauties are a princess and bat man. We had a lot of fun, we spent most of our time at the cake walk trying to win some cupcakes.

That next night was my schools trunk or treat, it was fun to have them with me at school. Minus the mishap with the bathroom cause the doors were locked all went really well. They had fun and they got to meet some kids from my class.

That next night was trick or treating they had a blast Jason took them to the court house they were handing out king size candy bars I think Mom has appreciated it more then them. I love watching how much they like Halloween this year compared to previous years they are finally getting the hang of things. Max still thinks that Batman flies.

Enjoying the weather

I am loving life with my kids especially with this super nice warm weather we have been experiencing. We try to go to the park at least once during the week after school, some weeks are better then others. I love watching them play. Holly even convinced me to go down the slide I was all good until the end the slide got skinnier. Max and Emily loved me going down it though.

Leaves are off the tree in full swing now too, we have to keep raking so hopefully it does not take over our yard. However, Max and Emily would rather just play. They were making road leaves this day. I love their creativitiy
