Pumpkin Patch

Weekends are crazy busy, but we had to keep up an old tradition of going to the pumpkin patch, so after grocery shopping and Mason's birthday we headed to Ashland Berry Farm. It took us forever to park, because it was so busy, but once we were there Max and Emily were quite chipper. (Max before hand was screaming over everything like put on your shoes, would you like pizza, so needless to say we were all on edge). As soon as we got there we got in line for the hay ride.

At the end of the line

After the hayride we made it to the patch. Where Max Emily and Jason headed out to find the perfect pumpkins. Max found his first, then Emily and Finally Jason found the one he wanted.

After we collected our pumpkins. We had to carry our pumpkins to the line. Emily and Max demanded they carry theirs, Max kept telling me his was to heavy so we had to carry it together. Also because the line was GIANT I waited in line while Max, Emily and Jason hung out at the front with our pumpkins.

Prove we actually like eachother
After the hayride because we are celebrating Max's birthday we bought some fresh doughnuts. While we were eating them Emily was enjoying playing at the tree. They were delicious we bought 6 chocolate, and 6 vanilla.

Overall it was a blast. As we were walking to the car. Max looks at Jason and I and said "That was fun", I love that he enjoyed it. When we made it home. Jason and I laid down on the couch we asked what she was doing, she looked at us and said I am cleaning up you Lazy Jacks. I love it cause we read her Lazy Jack at night and to associate it with the fact we were not do anything made me laugh. I love my smart little people.

My kids

My kids are growing up so fast. Max is gaining quite the personality. Right now he is deciding what he want to be for Halloween, so far he wants to be bat man. He is basically potty trained for both night and day. He also still loves cars, but has no sense of temperature. When it is hot he wants to wear his heavy jacket, when it is cold, he wants to wear shorts. He loves fire trucks and police cars. Although he has an obnoxious scream when he is happy or sad that just makes your skin crawl. Right now he is king of fits when life is not his way, but I am hoping he is almost done with that.  Emily is smart, and becoming better at expressing her self. She seems to be doing well at school, she has made some new friends because all of her friends from last year are in kindergarten. She is becoming more and more logical, but still has her freak out. Loves anything that deals with clothes, and princesses. I can't wait to see what else she does.

After schools

So we are very busy people. We spend days at school and work and play hard after school. After school we often go walking to our elementary school and play on their playground. It is so much fun to relax hanging out with my kids. Thursdays every 2 weeks we spend some time at the library. I love my kids and am so grateful for the time we get to spend together. They are growing so fast.

Day of Service

We had our day to serve. Our ward decided to make quilts for a refugee family as well as take donations of household goods. Not very many people showed up so Max, and I stepped up to the plate. I finished my quilt top, but apparently it has yet to be made into a quilt. Oh Well I tried, apparently I need to practice my skills more then twice a year

Labor Day

So I am slacking, trying to keep up with school, life, and kids. School started with a bang. The week after I started school we headed to a labor day party. It was a lot of fun. There was giant Jenga, slip and slides. Overall my kids had a blast. There also tasty food. Emily loved when Jason would throw her down the slip n slide. Someone had the idea of setting a giant tarp up on a hill to go down it was FUN for everyone. Except me of course. I watched.
