Happy new year and some. We have Been busy school started back up and we have returned to routines. The last few weeks we have been enjoying watchingy football and playing outside. On new years we went to the zoo which was a blast and we are excited to go back.

Merry christmas

Merry Christmas! We had our first Christmas in Texas and it was nice. Sunday we had fajitas with the extended family. Christmas eve my mom came over and we had dinner. Christmas we woke up opened presents and then the wests and grandma came over and we played games. We were also able to talk to grammy and papa.
Thanks to everyone making it a great Christmas.

It has been a busy week. The past week we were trying to get over sickness. Once we were pretty healthy Jenny took us to the arboretum. It was amazing we saw a cool village and the 12 days of Christmas. Also we for to experience Hollys fear of squirrels as she ran from then.

On Saturday aunt Sandra took us to see ice and out for lunch. It was a lot of fun. Calvin said his favorite part was the slide. Mine was the nativity at the 32nd.

Getting ready

We have been pretty busy lately. Holly had a fever this week and had her first ballet class. Max Emily and Calvin went to garland tree lighting It looked like fun. We also are having fun in our massive amounts of leaves. Calvin and Holly made ornaments at the library.

Keeping traditions alive we did the DEC turkey trot. It was cold and rainy. Emily finished her first 5k running she did it in about 31 minutes. Max finished his first one too. He finished right after Emily. I was all excited to run but sprained my ankle a couple days ago. Jason ran too he ran with max and emily. Overall lots of fun. We are excited to run next year.

We just cannot get away from the leaves. I figured we would have less leaves here but I am not quite seeing that yet. Meanwhile we spent one of our days off raking leaves in our front yard it was fun. Also we can't go a week without going to the library .Calvin and golly demand this picture.

School has started

In news at the Brown home is that Grammy came to visit Max and Emily have started school and Calvin and Holly went to the arborteum. Max is starting first grade his teacher is Ms. Henry. Emily started third grade Mr Adams and Me Ugolik are her teachers. She is super happy to have two teachers. Grammy came to visit for a few days She sewed with Emily and played with all the kids. She came with us to the thirsty it was a lot of fun.
