Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday morning we got up and headed to the pumpkin patch at Ashland Berry farm and boy did we have some fun in the autumn weather. We headed off on the hayride and Max loved it! He was able to sit with Papa which he loved. Then we walked around picked our pumpkins and headed back. We were able to get 9 pumpkins this year which was amazing Go Jason! Sorry no pictures this year! Then Emily was old enough to go through the maze so she went through with Grammy and did really well I surprised while Max hung out with Papa. Overall Good Morning.

Max's Birthday

We celebrated Max's birthday in two parts. On his birthday we went to Family day at chick fil a. He had fun ate some fries and just hung. Then we went home and had some cupcakes. Then on saturday we went to the pumpkin patch and let him pick out his first pumpkin himself. Overall my little boy is amazing today Emily was pretending to take a picture and he goes cheese, he tells me to go, he calls my name and Jason's name and is moving all over the place. I cannot believe he is only one, it seems so long ago when he was born and not sleeping. So much has changed in this last year includign my boy.

This yesterday was our ward Halloween party. I had been feeling sickish all week and was just starting to feel better. When the Bishop's wife asked me if I wanted to be in the pie eating contest, never the less she was a little shocked when I said yes. When we sat down I was sitting next Sister Hills who was telling me about her sister who wins mashed potato eating contest, and three other women who seemed to know what they were doing. I was wondering how does this work? Soon they said go and these were the results...

Good Week

Grammy and Papa are now home and Emily loves every second of it. Her and Grammy have rode bikes, cooked together and just had some fun. Max loves Papa and Grammy because they always make them laugh. Overall it is nice for them to be home.

Also this weekend we celebrated Emily's cousin Mason's birthday at Chuck E Cheese. Emily had so much fun. She won the jack pot and got herself a hundred tickets, she also ate cupcakes, rode on this spinning swing thing. Needless to say she did not want to go home. Overall we have had a good week.

Fun Week!

This week has been super busy for all of us. Jason this week had to go to a VDOT benefits fair. I have been busy at school. Emily is as cute as ever doing more and more things everyday. She is becoming moer and more helpful as well as independent. She tells us when she wants a nap, unfortunatley it is not always when I feel it should be so I put her in bed and she either screams and yells or plays. She also is getting so grown up in just he way she looks. However what Mom would find funny is her obsession with not her blanket, but with max's as her own. (who did that??). Sometimes I know for sure she is related to me purely because of her love of chocolate...she tells me she is done I offer her brownies or ice cream magically she is hungry again. One of the funny things she did this week was when her Jason and Max dropped something off at school for me, she went to my desk and sat down and pretended like she was working. I love her so much.

Maxi is doing good he is a walking champ and his favorite thing in our house is the stairs, which woudl be fine if he knew how to go down. His new favorite toy is the rat or raccoon things of the old toys that have a vibrating ball or diapers you take either one of those from him it is WWIII. I love my little boy he is growing up so quickly.

In other news Max gets to meet Grammy and Papa for this first time this week and I think he is very excited!

Crazy Kids!

I Love my family so much. Emily is becoming more and more of a daredevil and to be honest I love it. Going down some crazy slides, running and jumping off things and most of all just seeing what she is capable of doing. I looked at her shins yesterday they are covered in bruises and it honestly brings a smile to my face to know she is going to be a tough girl.
On the other hand she is crazy girly, she got up yesterday morning and she was wearing a dress because we were going to go shopping. Then when we got home we were going to on a walk and she demanded her clothes be changed so she put on shorts and a long sleeve shirt. Then when we got home from our walk we ate lunch an dput her down for a nap and when she woke up from her nap she was wearing a different dress. Whose child is this? It does put a smile on my face knowing she is a girly tom boy.

Max is getting more and more brave he has decided climbing the stairs is a great pass time ( to bad he cannot figure out how to go back down without falling). He loves his fridge DJ thanks to his Aunt April and Uncle Adam he walks around holding this music busting a jam to the ABC's or couting some frogs. You take that way like I tried to yesterday because it got on my nerves. He was not  a happy camper. However you can always make him happy by breaking out the vaccuum. At least he is happy while I am cleaning.
