Camping

WE had a family camp out in our backyard. It was Emily's first time sleeping in a tent. They all had  a blast. We even had a visit from Papa. We ate hotdogs, brats, and pork chops for dinner. Then we had Smores of course for dessert. Emily Ma and Jason were sleeping by 7:30. I know we are huge partiers.  Overall it was a good time, and I think Max and Emily are ready for a real camp out.

Easter

Happy Easter! We enjoyed our Easter we hinted fit eggs in the morning, then went to church after church we had supper at Jason's mom. There we hunted eggs and rolled then down the hill. I'm am grateful did the atonement everyday.

Calvin is 1 month

Calvin is officially one month old. Kind of crazy he is the biggest of my babies at this age. I think the formula helps. His favorite person is Emily and his favorite activity is to cuddle and eat. We have had a few rough nights where he will not go back to sleep, but as a whole doing so much better then all of my other kids.


Just for fun, Trying figuring out who is who. I think it  is weird they look so much a like. I know I know they have the same parents, but I still think it is crazy.

Emily is 5

We celebrated Emily Birthday last weekend. She enjoyed a princess party. Everyone dressed up as princesses. Jason's Mom even dressed up as a Fair godmother. We decorated a crown, decorated sugar cookies, and of course played pass the poison apple. It was a lot of fun. Emily chose a white cake with chocolate frosting. I can't believe how big she is now. I love my little Emily.

Adjusting

We are adjusting to life right now. I am adjusting to being home, my kids are adjusting to not going to school, and we are all adjusting to baby Calvin being here.

First things first my baby boy is 10 pounds 9 ounces and loves food. He is sleeping fairly well at night, better then my other kids. His favorite person to play with him is Emily. He loves to be moving around, whether it is strapped to me, or someone holding him in the stroller or just bouncing in our bouncer.

Emily is getting ready for her birthday party. She is super jazzed about turning five because it means she starts Kindergarten soon. She misses school and all her friends, but she will head back in April. She like Calvin as long as he is not crying she helps get him dressed gets him a blanket and so many things I am grateful for her support.

Max is a funny boy. He loves cars and likes to pretend there his kids, or that they are the ingredients he is cooking with, or that the super heroes need them for some reason or another. He doesn't think his baby brother is very exciting yet he will give him hugs and kisses but that is about it. However, he did ask me if there was a baby in my belly. I told him No, and I asked why and he said he wanted a girl baby now. Got to love kids. 

Overall we have been trying to stay busy, we have been to the library and the park. We play outside and go on walks. I head back to work in April should be interesting.
